During the Christmas holidays, the team of the Health and Resilience Network visited wounded Ukrainian warriors in Lviv. The visits took place at the Ministry of Internal Affairs Hospital and the Halychyna Rehabilitation Center for Wounded.
Together with military chaplains, the team prayed, spent time in conversation with the wounded, held an acoustic Christmas vertep (traditional nativity performance), and delivered gift packages to 80 injured soldiers.
The gifts were selected based on the soldiers’ own requests. They were purchased, packed, and delivered personally so that each defender could truly feel care and support.
We are grateful to our friends and supporters who helped raise funds for these presents. Each gift box included men’s hygiene and personal care items, as well as festive Christmas cookies.
These Christmas days served as a reminder of a simple but important truth: each of us can be a light for someone else. And this light is needed not only during the holidays, but every day — especially where it is needed most.
